Individual Therapy

The only way to build a meaningful life is to filter out the noise and look within.

Every day, we wake up saying today will be the day for change.

We set the intention to use our voice and respond to life differently. Yet, every time the opportunity presents itself, we fall back into the same behaviors.

Maybe we yell and scream, maybe we get silent and take it, maybe we walk away and feel the loneliness grow deeper, maybe we drown our sorrows with alcohol only to find they swim.

The Bigger Story

No matter how good our intentions are, how can we implement change when we do not understand how we became this person?

There is a bigger story to be told and heard. A story that only you can tell. Past beliefs can rob us of present-moment successes. Fears can prevent us from following through with change. Obligations and expectations of others can keep us captive.

Some could say that these are the fuel that can keep us stuck, unfulfilled, and struggling with anxiety and depression. What if I told you that these are the exact catalysts that we must face to create life-long healing and change?

There is nothing greater than becoming aware that you and only you have control over the way in which you see and interact with your daily life. Becoming our greatest witness allows us to home in on those automatic, reactive (subconscious) behaviors and patterns in life that plague us with self-defeating noise.

This is the opportunity to look beyond and see what it is that we need to overcome. There is great strength in our greatest perceived weakness.

Seeing clearly

When we finally decide to look inward, we might find that the inner critic has been a tremendous guiding force in our lives.

We harness tools that challenge this belief system and begin to see how this human experience can offer strategies toward change that are rooted in self-compassion and self-worth.

As we begin to see life more clearly, the ability to communicate our truths becomes the driving force to honor ourselves and all those we share life with.

No matter how you got here, today doesn’t have to be like yesterday.

The first step can be scary, and you could be feeling unsure – yet you know you need relief. Therapy is a safe space dedicated to you, your goals, and your inspirations toward change.

All I ask is that you bring yourself just as you are, and we can explore together.

Every person is a world to explore.
